Fog Update

Fog Update: Although the temperature was somewhat higher yesterday in a number of north Indian states, the meteorological service predicts that the temperature will begin to drop from January 1. It's expected that the thick fog would persist through January 5 in the capital city and surrounding states like Punjab and Haryana.

As visibility is predicted to remain poor in Delhi-NCR, the weather service has advised commuters to drive carefully. There is a good chance that some areas of Punjab, Haryana, and some areas of Uttar Pradesh will continue to have poor visibility.

Delhi

It is projected that visibility may decline in the early morning hours. But as daylight draws near, visibility ought to get better. IMD predicts that visibility will be 100 metres during the densest fog. The fog is expected to be considerably thicker in the next year, though.

Lucknow

Lucknow may see moderate to thick fog today as well, according to the most recent fog advisory. In the morning, there will likely be around 400cmetres of visibility, and during peak hours, there will likely be more. This weather trend will last a few more days.

Amritsar

As per the latest fog update, The new year celebration may get slightly dampened by the fog as the coldwave and fog is likely to strike off the city beginning today. There will only be 100 metres of vision at first, but this will increase as noon draws near.

Jaipur

Despite the chilly temperatures, Jaipur wouldn't be covered in fog. For a few more days, it'll probably keep flowing in the same way. Maybe a season without fog will come to the city as a consequence.
