Fog Update: With the minimum temperature in Rajasthan's Churu falling below 0 degrees Celcius on Thursday, the whole northern portion of the country has been experiencing extreme cold and thick fog. However, the situation has been milder today in New Delhi, the nation's capital, despite the fact that the city had experienced extreme cold for the previous three days. But starting on December 31, the region will once more experience bitter cold, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The fog will also increase naturally with the coldwave. However, as of now, people can enjoy the pleasant day weather as the relief will continue just for two days, including today.

Delhi
The national capital will today get some respite from fog. However, it won't disappear completely, its effect will be significantly reduced. The mornings will be much more clearer thanks to the relief. Although, it is only for a day or two. IMD has predicted visibility to be around 600M in shallow fog.
Lucknow
In a huge contrast, Lucknow will be severly foggy. As per the latest fog update, the visibilty will get dropped to 50M in the morning hours. Thus, it is advised to remain stay alert during the early morning hours. The impact is likely to get reduced as the day will inch closer towards noon.

Jaipur
Contrast to other north Indian cities, Jaipur will remain cold but will refrain from getting any fog. IMD does not predict any fog for the city today as well.
Amritsar
Although the fog is expected to be almost equal to that of the previous two days, haze is expected to engulf the city. Morning visibility will be 200M, but as noon approaches, it will improve.
