Fog Update: As the North India gears up for relief from coldwave, the intensity of fog is likely to decrease as well. Though, IMD has predicted that rains and hailstorms will continue to interrupt daily life in the region, the fog is most likely to disappear as we advance towards February. However, today will be moderately foggy in the mornings while the chilly temperatures will continue to hamper.

Due to poor visibility caused by strong fog, several trains and flights were also delayed. West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Bihar, and Tripura may have isolated areas of dense fog, and Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh may continue to experience cold wave conditions. Delhi

The national capital, for today, is predicted to not remain in thick blanket of fog. The IMD has predicted the visibility to be around 1500M around the early morning hours, however, it is likely to get better as the noon approaches.

Lucknow

IMD has predicted the early morning hours to remain under firm fog. Uttar Pradesh's capital city Lucknow will have the visibility of 500M during the early morning hour, which will then improve to 1000M.

Jaipur

As per the latest fog update by IMD, Jaipur is predicted to remain fog-free. This season has mostly been clear for the natives as the fog was observed only for a few days in this month as well.

Amritsar

In compared to other days of the season, today is anticipated to be considerably better. Today's morning visibility is expected to be approximately 800 metres, and it is likely to climb to 1500 metres, according to IMD.
