Fog Update: IMD has predicted that the minimum temperatures will climb by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in several areas of East India during the course of the next three days. Meanwhile, dense fog is quite likely to develop across Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, and Odisha during the same time period.

From January 24 to 26, severe rain and snowfall are expected over the plains of Northwest India, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The states that might see rain or snowfall include Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, East Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.

Delhi

The national capital has been predicted to remain under the blanket of 800 metres of shallow fog during the morning hours. Though, light rain and mist will continue to disrupt the morning even if the visibility numbers climb up.

Lucknow

Light fog will continue to impact the natives in Lucknow. IMD has predicted the visibility to be around 600 metres in the early morning hours and it is predicted to get better up to 1500 metres as noon approaches.

Jaipur

Though the last few days were fog-free in the city, today is expected to be very contrasting. As per the latest fog update, the visibility in Jaipur will drop up to 500 metres during the morning and will improve up to 800 metres later.

Amritsar

Today will be better in comparison to the last few days. IMD predicts the visibility to be around 1500 metres today and to also get better by 2500 metres after the morning.
