Fog Update: During the upcoming 48 hours, there is a chance of heavy fog in Delhi and Punjab. Parts of Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and West Rajasthan may see dense to very dense fog during the course of the next 48 hours, according to the Meteorological Department. Additionally, within the next 24 hours, there is a chance of heavy fog in eastern Rajasthan and western Uttar Pradesh.

IMD predicts that following this, the fog's intensity will probably lessen. But after three days, Punjab's various regions are likely to experience intense fog again. On Monday, Delhi experienced a cold wave, and because of the thick fog, some portions of the city had visibility as low as 50 metres. Traffic on the city's roads and trains was hampered by dense fog.
