Former JDU president Sharad Yadav passes away at 75; daughter Shubhashini confirms on Twitter

Sharad Yadav won elections at the age of 27

He was the first candidate to win on the then Janata party’s famous Haldar kisan symbol. He was handpicked by JP to contest the 1974 Jabalpur by election and he won at age 27. According to the report, Sharad Yadav died at Fortis Hospital on Thursday night at 9.30 p.m. Following the death of former JDU national president, a wave of grief has swept India's political corridor. Many big political personalities started paying condolences on social media handles.
