G-20 Summit: The Delhi Police and national security organisations are working diligently to complete security preparations for the G-20 summit, which begins on September 8. The Delhi Police security section has been working with the central security agencies on security exercises (rehearses) for the past ten days in accordance with the Ministry of External Affairs’ directives in order to guarantee that there is no security failure. Security drills are carried out daily from 4 am until 11 am.

Delhi Police Introduces Security Drills for G-20 Summit with Well-Trained Officials

This is the first time in Delhi Police’s history that security drills have been held after top officials and constables who have been on duty for the security of the G-20 summit for almost a year received various forms of training. This collection will go on till September 6. The meeting will also have a significant impact on traffic personnel. Additionally, they received extensive instruction for this. During the convention, more than 10,000 traffic management officers will be on duty. Around 5,500 officers and staff members of all ranks make up the Delhi Traffic Police, according to sources at the headquarters.

5000 More Personnel Poised for Deployment in Traffic Unit

It won’t be long until around 5,000 more people who have worked in this unit are deployed. He is now serving in the district and other units, and he has extensive expertise in traffic management. The traffic management will be handled by two special commissioners, four additional police commissioners, and 15 DCP level officers. The traffic officers receive daily briefings from these officers. Similarly, the security unit’s 8,000 employees will look after security. New black safari clothes will be worn by all of the jawans. Only khaki will be worn by Delhi Police employees assigned in the district and other security-related units.
