Gujarat Elections: AAP Declares Former TV Anchor Isudan Gadhvi as the Face of Chief Ministerial Candidate

Gujarat Elections: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which is waging a fierce campaign against the incumbent BJP in Gujarat, today announced Isudan Gadhvi as its candidate for chief minister.
In a poll conducted by the AAP to determine who should become next Chief Minister OF Gujarat, veteran journalist and TV host Isudan Gadhvi received 73% of the votes. AAP had conducted a similar poll in Punjab, to chose Bhagwant Singh Mann as their candidate for CM of Punjab.

In June of last year, Isudan Gadhvi joined the AAP.

The president of the AAP’s Gujarat unit, Gopal Italia, also ran for office.  

Gujarat will hold elections on December 1 and December 5, with results being announced on December 8.
