Gujarat Gas Leak: 6 Workers of the mill have died of suffocation

A major accident has happened in Surat, Gujarat on Thursday. Here 6 employees of Vishwa Prem Dyeing and Printing Mill have died due to suffocation. In fact, 6 workers of the mill have died of suffocation due to leakage of gas from the tanker near Vishwa Prem Dyeing and Printing Mill located in Sachin area here. While more than 25 people are in critical condition.

It is reported that an unknown truck driver was pouring poisonous chemical in the drain when suddenly the gas leaked. Who was this truck driver, why was he doing this and from which company, the police is busy collecting all this information. Out of the 25 people admitted to the hospital due to gas, the condition of 5 is critical and they have been kept in ICU.

This entire area is industrial. It is completely illegal to put chemicals of any company in the drain like this. So the question is why this was done. According to the information, the people who were in the grip of this accident stay inside the mill every day after working and go to sleep. The police is investigating after reaching the spot and can issue a statement on it soon.

There was panic after the accident. According to preliminary information, 6 people have died due to suffocation. Earlier, four laborers died during cleaning of chemical waste tank in a clothes factory in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The accident took place in the huge fabric unit of Chiripal Group located in Dholka, Ahmedabad. However, the gas leak could not be detected in that accident.
