Ram Navami holds a special religious belief among Hindus. Ram Navami is celebrated on the Navami date of Chaitra Navratri. This year, the occasion is being celebrated on Thursday, 30 March. It is believed that Ram Navami is celebrated to mark the birth of Lord Rama who is said to be the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu. He born to King Dasharatha and Queen Kaushalya in Ayodhya.
On this day, Hindus hold puja at home and celebrate by worshiping Kanyas. Devotees also visit the Ram temples, while some also observe fast.

The date and time of Ram Navami is subjective of the movements of stars and planets. This year, the festival falls o March 30, i.e., Thursday. As per the Drik Panchang, Ram Navami, this year, will begin at 11:11 am while it will end at 1:40 pm.
