Haryana Women’s Commission chief makes shocking sexist remark, Watch Video

Renu Bhatia, Chairperson of Haryana Women's Commission has given a statement regarding women. Addressing a program organized on women's awareness and cybercrime in a college in Kaithal, he said that girls do not go to perform Hanuman's aarti in OYO rooms. While going to such a place, it should also be kept in mind that bad things can happen to them.

Renu Bhatia said that 2246 cases came to us, many of them were similar cases, in which there is extra marital affair or live-in. In this case our hands are tied. The boy becomes completely confident that I have a live-in relationship and the girls of his family, his wife-mother or his children become his victims. He said that due to the live-in relationship law made in the guidelines of the Supreme Court, the Commission has to tie its hands in solving many cases.

Women's Commission Chairperson Renu Bhatia said that in all the cases of physical abuse, most of them come out of live-in. This is not only in Haryana, but everywhere. It becomes very difficult to intervene in these matters. Our hands are tied because of the law.

Due to which crimes are not decreasing, but are increasing and families are getting broken. Most of the girls tell that the accused gave them some drink mixed with it and then physically assaulted them. Don't girls know that anything can go wrong in such places.

With this Renu Bhatia said that girls say that rape is happening with them since 3 years. For this they need to be aware. Even after 15-20 years of marriage, the wife does not fully understand her husband. Then why do girls believe in friendship of two months after listening to things like Mera Babu, Mera Sona, don't get stuck in such quagmire. If someone is blackmailing then inform the teacher, mother, police or women's commission.
