‘India Is Hindu By Nature...’ Baba Ramdev Claims Even Muslims, Christians And Others Had Sanatani Ancestors, Wants To Do THIS

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev is back in the headlines with a statement that's creating ripples across the country. During his recent visit to Kurukshetra, Haryana, Ramdev said that India is “a Hindu nation by nature.” 

He also claimed that those who identify as Muslims, Christians, or any other faith today had ancestors who were Sanatani and worshipped Indian nature and culture.

Speaking to ANI, he said, “India is a Hindu nation by nature and the ancestors of those who call themselves Muslims, Christians or by any other name were also Hindus, Indians and worshippers of nature and culture; this is the ultimate truth. Now, gradually, everyone has started believing this…”

Baba Ramdev On Global Sanatan Dharma Mission

Ramdev went on to share his larger vision for Sanatan Dharma. He said that his aim is to connect over 500 crore people worldwide with yoga, spirituality, and Sanatan values. He described this as a “world victory journey” for Sanatan Dharma. According to him, it’s not a religion, but a way of life that connects all of humanity.

Ramdev said, “Yoga is the art of making human life balanced, healthy and positive.” He further stated that yoga belongs to everyone, not to any one religion. He believes Sanatan Dharma is about peace, balance, and spiritual living rather than dividing people.

His comments have sparked a range of reactions online. While some praised him for promoting Indian roots and unity, others saw the remarks as controversial. 

Ramdev’s Yoga Day In Kurukshetra

Ramdev is currently in Kurukshetra to prepare for the grand International Yoga Day celebrations on June 21. This year, the main event will be held in the holy city, and Ramdev will lead it from the front.

He has set a target to guide over one lakh people through yoga on the banks of Brahmasarovar. A special review meeting was held with the organising team to go over the final plans. Massive crowds are expected to gather and participate in the session led by Ramdev.
