International flights will no longer start from December 15 amid the threat of Omicron

The PM said this while presiding over a high-level meeting organized to review the situation related to Covid-19 and vaccination. Along with this, the PM had also talked about monitoring those coming from abroad and conducting a Covid test based on the existing guidelines with a focus on countries at risk. PM Modi had said that intensive control and active surveillance should continue in clusters reporting high cases. Along with this, he also told the need to be more alert and take proper precautions like masking and social distancing.
