Meanwhile, Canada and Australia have offered to supply gas supplies to New Delhi as India explores alternative sources of energy.

Iran Israel USA War-Indian Government Order

The Union Government of India has directed refiners in the country after invoking emergency powers to maximize the production of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) so there is no shortage of the cooking fuel due to the Middle East crisis.

The order stated that all oil refiners in the country are asked to maximize and make sure that butane and propane available to them are utilized for LPG production. It was also ordered by the Indian government to oil refiners not to divert butane and propane for petrochemical production.

A force majeure notice was recently issued by Petronet LNG, India’s ‌top ⁠gas importer, to QatarEnergy (its supplier) and local buyers after tankers of LNG were not able to reach the Ras Laffan’s loading terminal in Doha.
