Lord Jagannath Yatra kicks off in Ahmedabad

Jagannath Yatra: The Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra is considered as the most remarkable festivals of hindus. The Gujarat Chief Minister scrubbed the idols with a Golden broom and this has been followed by the Chief Minister every year as a tradition in the city of Gujarat. Meanwhile there have tight security arrangements all over the area. Cops have been taking the help of the Drone technology to ensure safety, also 3D Mapping is used to keep a vigil around the area.

Lakhs of Lord Jagannath  followers can be seen participating in the occasion just to get a glance of the divinity. The Police have made special security arrangements to make sure the Yatra should have no security lapses and the followers can participate and worship the lord peacefully.

President extends warm wishes to the Followers

President Draupadi Murmu also welcomed the people on the event of the Jagannath Yatra and wished for everyone’s wealth and prosperity. Along with the President, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also welcomed and wished people participating in the Yatra. The Prime Minister also shared his past experience of the Yatra when he used to stay in Gujarat.
