The security forces are prepared for the infiltration from Pakistan side in Jammu and Kashmir, but the Indian soldiers standing on the borders do not allow their plans to succeed. Now, to increase the control over the border, night curfew has been imposed on the international border in Saba district of Jammu and Kashmir. This curfew will continue for the next two months.
Curfew up to 1 kilometer in the district adjacent to the international border
In fact, the DM has imposed curfew from last night in Samba, the last district of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and bordering Pakistan. This curfew will remain within one kilometer range of the district. This curfew has been imposed to ensure the grip of BSF jawans even more. The reason for this has been done to control incidents like infiltration from Pakistan side in winter and fog and smuggling of weapons being sent from drones.
Night curfew will start from 9 pm
In an order issued by Collector of Samba district, Anuradha Gupta, curfew has been imposed from 9 pm to 6 am in an area of one kilometer in the district adjacent to the border. Meanwhile, the movement of citizens will be completely restricted. If anyone has to pass through this area in emergency, then they will have to take permission by showing their ID proof to the BSF jawans. After this they will be allowed to pass through here. At the same time, the police and administration will deal with those who violate the curfew completely under the law.
The District Magistrate told that the decision to impose curfew on the border has been taken in the meeting after discussing with BSF officials. Border Security Force officials have asked for curfew to be imposed within one kilometer from the international border so that they can perform their duties more effectively.
