Jharkhand: On November 15, the day of statehood, the Jharkhand cabinet approved the plan to introduce and roll out four significant programmes, including the Mukhyamantri Sarthi Yojana, to provide employment opportunities for the unemployed.

President Droupadi Murmu to launch the plans
The plans will all be launched by President Droupadi Murmu. She has given her permission to attend the statehood day commemoration event scheduled for November 15 in Khunti and Ranchi.
The Jharkhand government has made it possible for the state's unemployed youth to receive a monthly payment of Rs. 1,000 till they find employment. The monthly grant under this initiative for women and people with special needs is Rs. 1,500.
Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Yojana is another significant programme that will be introduced. Up to 8,000 less fortunate candidates preparing for CLAT, hotel management, engineering, and other exams will have access to financial aid for tutoring. A scholarship of Rs 2500 per month will be given to those from less affluent socioeconomic backgrounds who are staying in a dormitory to prepare.

The Eklavya Prashikshan Yojana
The Eklavya Prashikshan Yojana would make it easier for candidates to design their careers by enrolling in coaching for UPSC, JPSC, and bank employment.
Under the Guruji Student Credit Card Yojana, students may obtain credit or loans up to a limit of Rs. 15,000,000 (15 lakh) at an interest rate of no less than 4%.
