Jharkhand extends lockdown-like restrictions, Here's what is allowed and what is not

In Jharkhand, once again the duration of Health Protection Week has been extended by one week. Health Protection Week has now been extended till 6 am on 8th July.

  1. All shops in all districts will be able to open till 8 pm.
  2. All government and private offices will be able to open with 50% human resource.
  3. All shops (including vegetable-fruits-grocery shops) will remain closed from 8 pm on Saturday to 6 am on Monday. Healthcare related establishments and milk stores will remain open.
  4. Cinema halls, bars, multiplexes, restaurants will be able to open with 50% capacity.
  5. Stadiums, gymnasiums, and parks will be able to open.
  6. All educational institutions will remain closed.
  7. Anganwadi centers will remain closed but food items will be provided to the beneficiaries at home.
  8. There will be a ban on the gathering of more than 50 people.
  9. Banquet halls and community halls will be able to open but there will be a ban on the gathering of more than 50 people.

10Religious places will remain closed for devotees.

  1. The ban on the procession will continue.
  2. Bus transport was allowed within the state.
  3. The ban on interstate bus transport will continue.
  4. Public transport vehicles can seat the number of passengers as prescribed by the rules.
  5. The examination will be conducted by Bharat Sarkar.
  6. The examination conducted by the state will be postponed.
  7. The ban on fair and exhibition will continue.
  8. E-pass will not be necessary to go from one district to another within the state by private vehicle.
  9. E pass will be necessary to come to Jharkhand from other state or to go from Jharkhand to other state.
  10. Those coming to Jharkhand from another state will not be home quarantined for 7 days. Extensive testing of visitors will be done.
  11. Wearing of mask in public place and maintaining social distance is mandatory.
  12. In case of violation of the order, action will be taken by registering an FIR under the relevant section of the Disaster Management Act.
  13. The said order shall remain in force till further orders.
