Her visit is aimed at expressing gratitude towards top BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP National President JP Nadda, among others, for her candidacy.

Kangana is scheduled to return from Delhi on March 28 and will kick off her election campaign shortly thereafter. The BJP leadership has voiced strong objections to derogatory remarks made against Kangana by Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate and other opposition figures. Leader of the Opposition and former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur condemned these comments as unfortunate and an insult to the state of Himachal Pradesh, highlighting Kangana’s contributions to the cultural heritage of Mandi and the broader Himachal Pradesh through her achievements in the film industry.

The BJP has taken a strong stance against these remarks, viewing them not just as an attack on Kangana but as a disparagement of the entire state of Himachal Pradesh and an affront to women’s dignity across the nation. The party accuses the Congress of habitually disrespecting maternal strength, reflecting a deep-seated bias within the party against women.
In response to the controversy, the BJP plans to stage a protest in Mandi against the Congress party. The party is also preparing to file a complaint with the Election Commission against Supriya Shrinate for her remarks and is considering legal action against those who have made offensive comments.
Kangana’s father, Amardeep Ranaut, defended his daughter, stating that her success is a result of her hard work and dedication. He emphasized that every time her character has been attacked, she has emerged stronger, likening her to gold that shines brighter when tested. He expressed confidence that the people of Devbhoomi would provide an apt response to such detractors in due time.
