Mallu Traveller: Authorities have issued a lookout notice for Shakir Subhan, widely recognized as Mallu Traveller, a well-known travel content creator hailing from Kerala. This action is taken in relation to accusations of sexual misconduct involving a Saudi Arabian woman.
What had actually happened?
The reported incident took place on September 13th, which fell on a Wednesday, at a hotel in Kochi. Shakir was in the midst of conducting an interview with a Saudi Arabian woman who has been living in Kochi for an extended period. According to the woman, during this incident, Shakir allegedly made an attempt while her fiancé briefly left the hotel room.
The Ernakulam Central Police have officially registered the case in response to the complaint filed by the 29-year-old Saudi Arabian woman. In light of her complaint, authorities have taken action by issuing a lookout notice for Shakir Subhan.

This notice has been issued to alert authorities at airports and border checkpoints, ensuring that Shakir Subhan will be arrested for questioning if he attempts to enter Kerala. In addition, the police have summoned Shakir to appear before the investigative team and provide his statement regarding the allegations.
The delay in taking action against the YouTuber was due to his absence from the country at the time the complaint was filed. Law enforcement had previously urged him to cooperate promptly with the investigation. Meanwhile, as part of the ongoing inquiry, the complainant’s confidential statement has been recorded before a Magistrate.

Shakir is renowned for his travel content and has gained fame through his vlogs, notably one in which he diligently adhered to government-prescribed quarantine protocols before the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic in India.
