Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan tests COVID positive

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has tested positive for COVID-19. The Chief Minister will undergo treatment Government Medical College in Kozhikkode.

Taking to Twitter, the CM said, “I have been confirmed Covid +ve. Will get treated at the Government Medical College, Kozhikkode. Request those who have been in contact with me recently to go into self-observation.”

Earlier hus daughter Veena had also tested positive with the virus and she came out to vote in the Assembly elections in PPE kit.

According to the news reports CM Vijayan is asymptomatic and he is currently at his residence in Kannur.
