Binesh Kodiyeri, the son of Kerala CPM secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has been remanded to 14 days judicial custody after 13 days of grilling by the ED.
The Enforcement Directorate sleuths, who had arrested Kodiyeri in a money-laundering case. He was produced before Bangaluru Sessions Court yesterday after his custody was ended after 13 days of continuous interrogation.
Kodiyeri’s lawyer alleges that the arrest of his client was not legal by saying the court had earlier granted bail in similar cases. As of now the court adjourned the hearing of the bail application to November 18 and asked ED to give a detailed reply on the same day.
