The Resistance Front (TRF), which the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) had banned the previous day, warned terror attacks on those whose names it had published on a "hit list" on Saturday.
The TRF tries to present itself as a local terrorist organisation after being uncovered, despite the fact that it is actually a branch of the Pakistan-based Lashkar e Taiba.
TRF, a front for the Pakistan-based terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba, was declared a banned organisation on Thursday.
An announcement from the Union Home Ministry claims that the Resistance Front (TRF) is enlisting young people online for the purpose of promoting terrorist operations, recruiting terrorists, infiltrating terrorist groups, and transporting drugs and weapons into Jammu and Kashmir from Pakistan.
About TRF
The organization was formed in 2019 as a front for the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba, which was responsible for a number of terrorist operations, notably the 26/11 assaults in Mumbai.
The group uses psychological warfare on social media to encourage residents of Jammu and Kashmir to join terrorist organisations fighting the Indian government.
The group's actions are harmful to India's sovereignty and national security. Additionally, many cases have been filed against The Resistance Front members and associates.
The group was labelled a banned organisation by the home ministry due to all of its subversive actions.
Mohammed Amin, alias Abu Khubaib, a resident of Pakistan but a native of Jammu and Kashmir, was also labelled a terrorist by the authorities.
