Lucknow: The Income Tax Department is conducting raids at the showrooms of renowned Jewellers and traders in Kanpur and Lucknow. The raids are being underway in Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow and parts of NCR. According to the Income Tax officials, as soon the raids were conducted, the shop owners and businessman got agitated and started calling the act unfair.

Many Store owners flee shops fearing raids
Raids were conducted in kanpur’s famous Jewellery showroom, Radha Mohan Purshottam Das Jewellers, the promoters of Emerald Garden Housing and in the locations of Kanpur businessman Sanjiv Jhunjhunwala. Many jewelers of Mahanagar, Aminabad Chowk were also raided.
