Maharashtra Woman Killed By Live-In Partner: Police

According to police, a 37-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her live-in partner, who then placed her body under the bed’s storage section at their leased home near Mumbai. When Hardik Shah attempted to flee the Palghar district of Maharashtra, the railway police caught him.

Megha, a nurse, used to pay bills while Hardik was unemployed. As a result, they frequently argued, which eventually led to the murder, according to a statement from the police.

Hardik sold some household things after killing Megha and made off with the money. He was arrested at Nagda, Madhya Pradesh, by the railway police after the police learned he was trying to escape by train.

According to police, a crime branch team is in route to take custody of the accused.

Megha and Hardik, who had been dating for three years, had been living together for the last six months. Nearly a month prior, they had moved to the rental home.

According to the police, their neighbours also complained about their frequent fights.
