Mallikarjun Kharge reacts to China move to rename Arunachal Pradesh cities name

China has issued new names of 11 places in Arunachal Pradesh, for which Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Kharge said, today the country is suffering the result of PM Modi giving a clean chit to China.

Kharge tweeted and wrote, China has dared to “change the name” of our areas in Arunachal for the third time. 6 places on 21 April 2017, 15 places on 30 December 2021 and 11 places on 3 April 2023. He further wrote, Arunachal Pradesh is and will remain an integral part of India. After Galwan, the country is facing the consequences of Modi ji giving a clean chit to China.

List of new names of 11 places released

Actually, China has once again released a list of new names of 11 places in Arunachal Pradesh. This list has been released in Chinese, Tibetan and Pinyan languages. Out of these 11 places, two rivers, five Parvati peaks, two residential areas and two land areas are included. At the same time, the Government of India has given a strong reaction to this act by China.

Keeping the name 'fabricated' will not change the reality… - Ministry of External Affairs

Foreign Ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi said that this reality will not change by keeping the name 'mangadhant'. Bagchi said, we have seen such news. This is not the first time that China has made such an attempt. We reject it outright. Arunachal Pradesh has always been and will remain an integral and inalienable part of India. Keeping 'made up' names will not change this reality.
