Mangaluru blast case: One more suspect detained case

Mangaluru blast case: As the investigation into Mohammed Shariq’s ties to terrorism deepens, the intelligence agencies conducted a raid on his Mysore, India, rental home on Sunday. They seized explosives, one mobile phone, two fake Aadhaar cards, one PAN, a debit card, and an unused SIM. Shariq is accused in the Mangaluru blast case.

A moving auto rickshaw in Mangaluru experienced an explosion two days ago, leaving Sharif and the driver with burn wounds. A team of National Investigation Agency (NIA) investigators was sent to the coastal Karntaka area after investigation proved that the explosion was undoubtedly a “act of terror.”

One new suspect, an Assamese national, has been held for questioning in Tamil Nadu’s Nagercoil, one day after Karnataka DGP Praveen Sood said that Shariq had just visited that state.
