‘CBI has no evidence’

Dayan Krishnan, appearing for Sisodia, said that the CBI has no evidence to show his involvement in the alleged irregularities. The lawyer submitted that every accused aside from Sisodia has been released on bail.

Earlier, the Delhi HC had issued a notice to CBI on a bail plea moved by Sisodia against a trial court denying bail to him in a CBI case related to the excise policy.

Manish Sisodia to move to Supreme Court

Manish Sisodia is now planning to move to the Supreme Court against Delhi High Court’s decision to not grant him bail.

This is the second time the AAP leader is moving to the SC in the same case. The apex court had earlier refused to entertain his plea for quashing the FIR or in the alternative grant him bail from eh chi custody.

The court maintained that the AAP leader must move to the trial court or the Delhi HC for the relief he is seeking from the SC.
