It is no longer mandatory to wear a mask while traveling in an aircraft. The Ministry of Civil Aviation has given this information on Wednesday. However, the ministry also said that despite the decreasing number of corona virus cases, they should use masks.
In fact, it was mandatory till now to wear a mask while traveling in flights and there was a provision of financial penalty and even punishment for not doing so. However, now the Ministry of Aviation has said in a communication issued to all the airlines of the country that it has been decided to do away with the mandatory wearing of masks in aircraft in line with the government’s series of steps to be adopted for Covid-19 management.
It has been said in this order, ‘From now on, passengers in flights can only be told that in view of the threat of Covid-19 epidemic, all passengers should give priority to wearing masks / face covers.’
What Is Covid Situation In India ?
There is a continuous decrease in the cases of corona virus infection in the country. According to the latest official data, the number of active patients of Covid-19 infection in the country has come down to 7,561, which is only 0.02 percent of the total cases.
Recovery Rate
At the same time, the national rate of recovery of patients is 98.79 percent. So far, a total of 4,41,28,580 people in the country have become free from corona infection, while the death rate from Covid-19 is 1.19 percent.
