Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh has written a letter to CM Uddhav Thackeray. This letter of Parambir Singh has created a stir in the politics of Maharashtra. The letter mentions Sachin Vaze trapped in the Antilia case. Through this letter, Parambir Singh has severely accused Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.
The former commissioner has accused Anil Deshmukh of demanding Rs 100 crore every month. Parambir Singh was recently removed from the post of Mumbai Commissioner. Parambir has written in his letter that Sachin Vaze told me that Anil Deshmukh had asked him to do 100 crore rupees every month.
Parambir Singh in the letter also accused Dadra Nagar Haveli MP Mohan Delkar of putting pressure on the suicide case. According to Parambir Singh’s allegations, from the first day, Home Minister Anil Deshmukh wanted that a case of abetment to suicide should be registered. Parambir Singh wrote in this case, ‘I was of the opinion that even if there has been some kind of abetment to suicide, then this case should be lodged in Dadra Nagar Haveli instead of Mumbai.’
The Home Minister told Vaze that there are about 1750 bars, restaurants and other establishments in Mumbai. If Rs 2-3 lakhs are collected from each, then 40-50 crores will be received every month. The rest of the collection can be done through other means.
Anil Deshmukh’s statement
On the other hand, on this issue, Anil Deshmukh says that Parambir Singh has made this false accusation to protect himself as well as to avoid further legal action. While Sachin Vaze involvement in the Mukesh Ambani case as well as the Mansukh Hiren murder case is becoming clear and the investigation is likely to reach the then Police Commissioner Parambir Singh.
