A very surprising case has come to light from Jharkhand. Here a teacher forced a class IX student of a girls’ school to take off her clothes, then the girl set herself on fire. The police gave this information.
A police officer said that the girl was seriously injured in the fire, she was taken by her family members to a nearby hospital and she is fighting for her life. The official said a complaint has been registered against the teacher and the matter is being investigated.
According to the officer, the girl said in a statement to the police that the teacher humiliated her and asked her to undress in a room adjacent to the classroom. According to the police, the teacher had expressed suspicion of hiding copying material in the student’s uniform during the examination.
Her mother also said that the teenager could not bear the humiliation and set herself on fire soon after returning from school. Despite all the efforts, the school administration could not be contacted.
Meanwhile, agitated locals took to the streets to protest the incident. Many of them said that they would visit the school and demand action against the erring teacher.
