Mulayam Singh Yadav: One of the most remarkable politician of Independent India's history has passed away today at the age of 82. Former CM of UP and his son Akhilesh Yadav informed everyone about Mulayam Singh Yadav's demise. The age-old leader was in the hospital since last 9 days and was under treatment since more than last 40 days.

UP govt has also declared a three-day state wide mourning on his demise. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that his last rites will be conducted with full state honours.

Widely known to be a grounded leader and sensitive with general issues of public, Mulayam Yadav was a meaning of politics in UP. Groomed by many big leaders himself such as Ram Manohar Lohia and JP Narain, he went onto pave his own way of politics and become a people's favourite.
