Reports of the alleged proposal of marriage of the victim to the accused in the rape case have been rejected by Chief Justice SA Bobde. What is the whole matter? Actually, last week, the Supreme Court stayed the arrest of the accused in a sexual abuse case with a minor for four weeks. The accused is a government employee, a technician in Maharashtra State Electricity Generation Company Limited. The accused argued that if he is arrested, he will be suspended from service.
