New Delhi: Aftab called another girl in flat while Shraddha's body parts remained in the same room

New Delhi: Aftab Amin Poonawalla, who murdered his live-in girlfriend Shraddha Walkar and chopped her corpse into 35 pieces, matched with another woman on Bumble and invited her for a night at his home. In the meantime, Shraddha's bodily parts were kept in the freezer.

Aftab contacted this girl through the dating app Bumble one month after killing Shraddha, and they went to his house in Chhattarpur Pahadi, where he had kept Shraddha's sliced body parts.

Aftab was inspired from 'Dexter' show

As reported yesterday, At his home in South Delhi, Aftab killed his live-in partner by strangling her, chopped off her body in 35 parts and kept her in the freezer for a few days until he disposed of the body parts. This does not end here, as he used to dispose off a few body parts in a nearby forest at night. He used to sleep in the same room he murdered and kept her.

According to Aftab's account to the authorities, he killed Shraddha during a dispute over a marriage and was motivated to chop off her body by the American crime drama Dexter.

Aftab used several tactics to cover up suspicion

He scrubbed the floor with sulfuric and hypochlorous acid to remove any DNA samples that might can be discovered during the forensic investigation. To prevent suspicion, Aftab continued to be active on Shraddha's social media accounts. He used to light up incense sticks to also cover up the smell.

As per the reports, he killed his girfriend on 18th May and kept living in the same flat to avoid any kind of suspicion. Sources also claim that he later called up many girls to his home for spending a night.
