New Delhi: Chinese Woman Disguised as Monk Held for Anti-National Behavior and Identity Theft

New Delhi: According to sources, the Delhi Police has detained a Chinese woman for allegedly engaging in "anti-national actions" while residing in India using a false name.

According to them, the woman has been identified as Cai Ruo from China's Hainan province.
With a short haircut and a customary deep red robe, the woman was posing as Dolma Lama, a Buddhist monk. According to police, she was taken into custody from Majnu ka Tila in north Delhi, a Tibetan refugee settlement that is also well-liked by visitors close to Delhi University's north campus.

She was found to be in possession of a Nepalese citizenship certificate under her name, Dolma Lama, during the verification process.

Her actual identity

She was a Chinese national who had visited India in 2019, according to the Foreigners Regional Registration Office, which was contacted, the police said.
According to police, a case against her was filed on October 17 at a special police cell under Section 120 B (criminal conspiracy), Sections 419 (cheating by personation), Section 420 (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property), Section 467 (forgery of valuable security), and other pertinent sections of the Indian Penal Code and Foreigners Act.
