The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a chargesheet against wanted gangster Dawood Ibrahim and five members of his gang in the Mumbai attack. The NIA has filed this chargesheet in connection with the ongoing investigation in extortion cases against five people associated with the Dawood Ibrahim gang. In the chargesheet, Dawood and his henchmen have been accused of extorting money by threatening people. Apart from this, he has also been accused of using these money for terrorist activities.
It has also come to the fore in the NIA investigation that Dawood and his gang have collected a lot of money to carry out terrorist plots in other cities of India including Mumbai. All the money has been collected through hawala. NIA has filed a chargesheet against 3 arrested and 2 wanted accused related to D-Company.
NIA filed a chargesheet against 2 wanted accused including 3 people arrested related to India's most wanted and 'global terrorist' Dawood Ibrahim gang. It is noteworthy that Dawood operates a terrorist network by the name of D-Company, which is involved in many terrorist and criminal incidents in India.
Accused of increasing terrorist activities
Investigation has found that the accused persons are members of a terrorist gang and an organized crime syndicate D Company. The accused had hatched a conspiracy to further the criminal activities of the gang by carrying out various types of illegal activities. He is accused of extorting money from D-Company by threatening to kill many people to further his terrorist activities. The accused did this with the intention of deliberately endangering the security of India and creating terror in the minds of the common people.
It has also come to the fore in the investigation of the NIA that the arrested accused miscreants got money from the absconding and wanted criminals through hawala channels. His aim was to create fear of terror in the minds of people living in Mumbai and different parts of India. NI's investigation in this matter is still going on.
