NIA: Madrassa student from Saharanpur detained, terror links suspected

NIA: On Sunday, a Madrassa student who belongs to Karnataka has recently been detained by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) as terror links are suspected him. The police sources said that Farukh, the madrassa student was staying in Deoband of Sharanpur. The student left after 8 hours of questioning.

Farukh’s detection was confirmed by the senior superintendent of Police Vipin Tada. Daryl Uloom Deboband’s chief Abdul Kasim Nomani said that Farrukh was handed over in the evening to the authorities of Darul Uloom Deoband.

As per the sources, Farkukh knew numerous languages and was allegedly in touch with the Pakistan Intelligence unit ISI through social media.
