NIA will investigate the killings of civilians in Jammu and Kashmir

So far 11 civilians have been selectively killed in Jammu and Kashmir during this month, and the investigation of this case is now going to be done by the National Investigation Agency, ie National Investigation Agency (NIA). Sources have given this information on Tuesday morning.

The Union Home Ministry has ordered the NIA to unravel the big conspiracy behind these killings, and now the NIA will take over the four cases related to it from the Jammu and Kashmir Police.

The latest incident of killings took place on Sunday, when two workers from Bihar were shot dead in Wanpoh area of ​​Kulgam district. The third worker was injured. A day before this, a Golgappa vendor from Bihar and a carpenter from Uttar Pradesh were killed in the valley. According to the police, Golgappa vendor Arvind Kumar Sah was shot from a close range in Srinagar, while carpenter Sagir Ahmed was killed in Pulwama. Of the 11 civilians killed recently, five had come to Jammu and Kashmir from other states.

According to an official, these incidents indicate that terrorists are targeting people from other states. Other victims of these incidents include Makhan Lal Bindru, a well-known Kashmiri Pandit and drug shop owner in Srinagar, Mohammad Shafi Lone, a taxi driver, teachers Deepak Chand and Supinder Kaur, and street food seller Virendra Paswan.

These killings have created fear among the people of the valley, and many families of Kashmir Pandits have come to the transit camps. Dozens of families, including government employees, have left the area. Following these attacks, the police have launched a massive operation and around 900 people have been detained across the Union Territory for their alleged links with the separatists.

Security forces have also intensified operations against terrorists. According to the administration, more than a dozen terrorists have been killed during the last one week.
