Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday questioned the government on providing reservations in jobs when there aren't any jobs in the first place. He also hit out at the government on the new farm laws and demanded their withdrawal.

"Tsunami of ''Friendship''. If there is no employment and neither is it going to be in the next few years, then what is the point of having reservation," he said in a tweet in Hindi and used the hashtag ''India On Sale''.

The former Congress chief's jibe comes after the government came out with the national asset monetisation pipeline to garner ₹ 6 lakh crore in the coming years.

In a separate tweet, he said that fields will not turn into san and they won't be available for sale to "friends".

In another tweet, he said, "We will not let the fields turn into sand and will not allow gifting them to ''friends''. Withdraw the anti-agriculture laws." Gandhi wrote along with the hashtag "Farmers Protest".

For the unversed, farmers have been protesting against the three contentious farm laws that were passed in September last year. Congress has been supporting the farmers' agitation and demanding the withdrawal of the three farm laws, which they say are against the farmers. The opposition party has launched many attacks at the Modi-led BJP government at the Centre.
