In Jammu and Kashmir, Director General of Police Hemant Lohia was murdered by slitting his throat. The People’s Anti-Fascist Front (PAFF) has claimed responsibility for this attack, which is linked to the Pakistani terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed.
The People’s Anti-Fascist Front (PAFF) is a modified form of Pakistan-based terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. After the removal of Article 370 from Kashmir, the name of PAFF started appearing. The PAFF is inspired by Zakir Musa, the slain commander of the terror group Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind, believed to be loyal to the global terror group Al Qaeda.
The People’s Anti-Fascist Front PAFF issued a video threat in 2020. It was said that the settlers will not allow settlement in Kashmir like Israel. Indians living in these colonies will be targeted.
The PAFF has claimed responsibility for several attacks in the past. In October 2021, the People’s Anti-Fascist Front had claimed responsibility for the ambush at Surankote in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Five soldiers of the army were martyred in the terrorist attack in Surankote.
Earlier, the People’s Anti-Fascist Front has claimed responsibility for the killing of BJP leader Rakesh Pandita in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama. By issuing a press release on behalf of the organization, it was told that their cadre had killed Rakesh Pandita in Tral. Rakesh Pandita was on the post of Municipal Councilor of Tral.
PAFF has so far released several video messages and warned of more such attacks to achieve its objective of internationalizing the Kashmir issue. In a video, a man with a dim face warned of increasing attacks against security forces.
Not only this, the organization also warned that it is determined not to allow India to organize any G-20 meeting in Kashmir and will do anything and everything to stop it. At the same time, Jammu and Kashmir has come on alert mode as soon as the news of Hemant Lohia’s murder is received. Because the occurrence of such a big incident raises the question of security somewhere.
