During the search, one of the 8 jawans went to the Pakistan border due to fog. In the flag meeting between the Pak Rangers, it was agreed to release the jawan. After this the BSF jawan was released by the Pak Rangers.

When 8 BSF jawans went out during the search operation in the morning, one of them Havildar mistakenly crossed the Burji and entered the Pakistan border due to mist. When the jawan returned, the search was done for this jawan. After this, the footprints of that BSF jawan were found going towards Pak Rangers.

When BSF talked to Pak Rangers, Pak Rangers told that they have caught a soldier. Senior officers were informed about this. This jawan was recently posted at Abohar border. At the same time, the statement of BSF has also come to the fore regarding this whole matter. On this matter, a BSF official said that Pakistan has handed over the BSF jawan who unknowingly crossed the border on Thursday morning in the Punjab sector adjacent to the India-Pakistan border.
