Pakistan’s Sindh Chief Minister says “Happy Holi” on Diwali, deletes post after netizens trolled

Chief Minister of Pakistan’s Sindh Muead Ali Shah had shared a photo of him inscribed on the words “Happy Holi” on the day when entire world celebrated Diwali on November 4.

Minister took to Twitter to share this post and later deleted it after users backlashes.

On this occasion, several leaders and politicians all across the world posted heartfelt Diwali messages to wish people.

Murtaza Solangi, a Pakistan-based journalist, shared a screenshot of the now-deleted tweet and wrote, “Sindh has the largest number of Hindu population in Pakistan with areas where Hindus are in overwhelming majority. One can only be sad at the state of affairs if the staff at the CM House Sindh doesn’t know the difference between Diwali and Holi. Sad indeed (sic).”
