The festive season continues. There are only 2 days left in Diwali. In such a situation, the Jammu and Kashmir government has given permission to buy and sell eco-friendly fireworks in the state. That is, in Jammu and Kashmir, people will be able to burst only green crackers. At the same time, the time for bursting green firecrackers on festivals has also been fixed. According to the order given by the state government, people will be able to burst green crackers only from 8 pm to 10 pm during festivals.
On the other hand, the Calcutta High Court had banned the purchase, sale and use of all firecrackers in the state during festivals. But the special bench of the Supreme Court rejected this decision and allowed the use of green firecrackers.
The Supreme Court has allowed the use of eco-friendly and ‘medium’ quality green firecrackers. The order of the Supreme Court given on October 29 will be equally applicable to all the states. Now the question is, how are these green crackers? In fact, green crackers are specially prepared firecrackers, which cause very little pollution in the environment.

Green crackers do not contain harmful chemicals for the environment. Therefore, pollution is less spread by them by 30-40 percent. In these, aluminum, barium, potassium nitrate and carbon are not used and even if they are done, its quantity is very less. They look like normal firecrackers.
All types of firecrackers are found in the category of green crackers, flower pots, skyshots. They also include fragrance and water crackers. These are a bit expensive. For these, you may have to spend about 40 to 60 percent more money.
