PM Modi Gujarat Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Gujarat on August 25–26, 2025, where he will unveil a series of transformative development projects spanning urban development, energy, roads, and railways.

On August 25, at around 6 PM, PM Modi will inaugurate, lay foundation stones, and dedicate projects worth ₹5,400 crore at Khodaldham ground, Ahmedabad, followed by a public address.
On August 26, at around 10:30 AM, the Prime Minister will visit Hansalpur, Ahmedabad, where he will inaugurate localized production of hybrid battery electrodes at TDS Lithium-Ion Battery Plant and flag off Suzuki’s first global Battery Electric Vehicle ‘e VITARA’ for export to more than 100 countries. This marks a major milestone in the Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives, positioning India as a key player in global green mobility.
Railway & Road Connectivity Boost
PM Modi will dedicate railway projects worth over ₹1,400 crore, including the doubling of the 65 km Mahesana-Palanpur rail line and gauge conversions of the Kalol-Kadi-Katosan and Bechraji-Ranuj lines. A new passenger train between Katosan Road and Sabarmati, along with a car-loaded freight train from Bechraji, will improve connectivity and boost industrial logistics.
In road infrastructure, he will inaugurate widening projects, underpasses, and bridges on key stretches such as Ahmedabad–Mehsana–Palanpur road and Ahmedabad–Viramgam road, aimed at reducing congestion and spurring economic growth.
Power & Urban Development
The Prime Minister will also inaugurate power distribution projects worth ₹1,000 crore across Ahmedabad, Mehsana, and Gandhinagar, under UGVCL, to modernize the power grid and reduce outages.
Further, he will inaugurate slum redevelopment projects under PMAY (U), lay foundation stones for road widening on Sardar Patel Ring Road, and strengthen urban water and sewerage systems.
To boost governance efficiency, PM Modi will also lay the foundation for a new Stamps & Registration Building in Ahmedabad West and a State-Level Data Storage Centre at Gandhinagar for enhanced digital governance.
This visit underlines the Prime Minister’s commitment to world-class infrastructure, connectivity, and sustainable green energy, setting the stage for Gujarat’s and India’s next phase of growth.
