PM Modi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) manifesto, “Modi’s Guarantee: Developed India 2047,” or “Sankalp Patra,” on Sunday, setting the stage for the next Lok Sabha elections. The historic occasion, which was held in the party’s New Delhi headquarters, fell on the anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s birth, who is regarded as the creator of the Indian Constitution.

Utilizing the NaMo App and Video Submissions

The NaMo app and video submissions were among the outlets used to gather input for the BJP’s manifesto, which was shaped by more than 1.5 million proposals. The manifesto, which seeks to represent the goals of the country, lays a strong focus on development and imagines an affluent India that uplifts its farmers, women, youth, and the impoverished.

Prime Minister Modi summed up the BJP‘s philosophy with a nod to inclusivity in the catchphrase “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas,” emphasising harmony and advancement for all. The introduction of the manifesto coincides with the Modi government’s unwavering implementation of key commitments, such as the building of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and the repeal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dalit Demographics in Uttar Pradesh

It is notable that 21.1% of people in Uttar Pradesh are Scheduled Caste (SC) members, or Dalits. Congress and the BSP were once thought to have a solid grasp on the Dalit voter base. But for a while now, the Dalit community has supported the BJP, and it has profited from this as well.

The BJP is targeting the Dalit voter base once more. It remains to be seen, though, if the BJP is able to even somewhat increase the Dalit voter base. We would like to inform you that the BSP’s and other parties’ hold on the 17 Scheduled Caste reserved seats in Uttar Pradesh is beginning to wane. BJP is attempting to fully capitalise on this in light of this.

PM Modi Stresses Investment for Youth Empowerment

Prime Minister Modi emphasised the value of investment in creating jobs, reiterating the party’s dedication to empowering India’s vibrant youth. The designation of 2025 as the “Janjatiya Gaurav Year” is a noteworthy aspect of the manifesto, highlighting the government’s commitment to recognising indigenous cultures.

In addition, it broadens the scope of the Ayushman Bharat Scheme to include transgender people and all older citizens over 70, demonstrating the government’s commitment to universal healthcare. In honouring Dr. Ambedkar’s legacy, BJP National President Nadda emphasised the party’s steadfast dedication to social justice.
