PM Modi on two-day Gujarat trip from October 30, to inaugurate various projects

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Ahmedabad and Kevaidya as a part of his two-day Gujarat trip to launch a host of projects. The Prime Minister will arrive in Ahmedabad on Friday morning wherein he is scheduled to launch the famed seaplane service between Kevadiya and Ahmedabad.

PM Modi will also be visiting the grieving family of former Gujarat CM Keshubhai Patel who passed away on Thursday. The 92-year-old leader was suffering from a prolonged illness.

PM Mod expressed deep pain on the passing away of the stalwart trhough a series of tweet.

"Our beloved and respected Keshubhai has passed away I am deeply pained and saddened. He was an outstanding leader who cared for every section of society. His life was devoted towards the progress of Gujarat and the empowerment of every Gujarati," he said .

After visiting the family of late leader, PM Modi will leave for Kevadiya in Narmada district. He would be taking helicopter ride from the Ahmedabad airport to Kevadiya. Later, he is expected to visit Statue of Unity and inaugurate the Sardar Patel Zoological park dedicated to the 'Iron Man of India'.

The zoo houses will have wild animals and birds brought from all over the world.

PM Modi would then inaugurate Ekta Mall near the statue where tourists can buy handicraft items brought from all over the country, an official said.

On October 31, to mark Sardar Patel's birth anniversary, the PM will visit the Statue of Unity to pay floral tribute. On the occasion, a parade, named Ekta Diwas Parade, by Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and the Gujarat police will also be organised, the official said.

Later in the afternoon, PM Modi will launched the seaplane service and thereafter, he will return to New Delhi.
