PM Modi Varanasi Visit: Mega Development Push with 52 Launches, Big Boost for Agriculture

On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Varanasi on his 51st visit. In the three-hour visit, he will commission and also lay foundation stones of 52 big development projects to the tune of 2183.45 crores, provide a significant boost to the agriculture sector by releasing the 20th installment of PM-Kisan, and also distribute assistive devices to various differently-abled citizens. 

PM Modi's 51st Varanasi Visit: Big Boost for Farmers & Development

This is the 51st trip that PM Narendra Modi has made to Varanasi and inaugurated 52 development projects worth 2,183.45 crore, including the Varanasi-Bhadohi Four-Lane Road and a State Homoeopathic Medical College. He also brought out 20.50 lakh crore rupees of money as part of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme to more than 9.7 crore farmers, including 2.21 lakh farmers in Varanasi, and assistive devices were given to differently abled people. There was an infrastructure visit, a healthcare visit, an agriculture visit, and a cultural heritage visit, and CM Yogi and Governor Anandiben Patel welcomed the Prime Minister.

52 Projects for Varanasi: Inauguration & Foundation Laying

In the PM Modi Varanasi Visit, the Prime Minister is going to commission 14 developmental works worth 565.35 crores and lay the foundation of 38 new developmental works worth 1,618.10 crores.

1. Biggest Inauguration:

 Widening of the 35 km Varanasi-Bhadohi Four-Lane Road.

2. Greatest Foundation Stone:

Construction of the State Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital.

The others worth mentioning are the construction of new medical facilities, animal shelters, the expansion of roads, and the creation of cultural heritage.

PM Modi Releases ₹20,500 Cr PM-Kisan Aid to Farmers Nationwide

Starting Kashi itself, PM Modi will release the 20th installment of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi of 20500 crore, benefiting over 9.7 crore farmers of India, including 2.21 lakh farmers of Varanasi. This forms a big step in boosting the agriculture industry ahead of the festive season.
