Prime Minister was seen wearing a blue jacket as he arrived for the Parliament session on Wednesday. The jacket was special as it was made from recycled PET bottles. Setting an example for the entire nation, the Prime Minister has been at the forefront in the fight against climate change. Earlier in 2019, he was seen plugging at a beach in Mahabalipuram in 2019.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is expected to reply to the motion of thanks on the President’s address in the Lok Sabha, was seen donning a blue jacket, which has been recycled from plastic bottles. The jacket was presented as a gift to PM Modi by Indian Oil Corporation during India Energy Week in Bengaluru on Monday. The jacket was made out of recycled PET bottles.
National Green Hydrogen Mission
The government recently launched National Green Hydrogen Mission with an outlay of Rs 19,700 crore, which aims to power India as an energy transition powerhouse. Over 10 crore PET bottles will be recycled to make sustainable garments for India Oil employees and Armed Forces.
