The event witnessed the presence of several prominent leaders, including Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda, Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari, Ashwini Vaishnaw, Hardeep Singh Puri, and Amit Malviya. The event was inaugurated by Shri Amit Malviya, followed by a detailed presentation by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, highlighting the government's exceptional achievements in the last 11 years. The event was a tribute to the impactful journey of “11 Years of PM Modi”.

New Milestones in Education – 11 Years of PM Modi

The Modi government has been consistently praised for its reforms in education. From school-level education to higher studies, transformational changes have been made to boost employment opportunities and quality education. Here's a snapshot of what changed in 11 years:

After over three decades, India saw a revolutionary change in the National Education Policy.

The number of universities in India has surged from 500 to 1300, marking a record-breaking expansion.

7 new IITs have been established; by 2025, the total will reach 23 IITs, with an additional 6,500 seats added.

India now boasts 2045 medical colleges, including 780 allopathy, 323 dental, and 942 AYUSH institutions.

The number of AIIMS institutes has doubled to 23.

India also has 21 IIMs, reflecting an expansion in management education. 

Women Empowerment: A Cornerstone of Modi’s Governance

Over the past 11 years, women’s empowerment has been a central priority of the Modi government, with substantial progress on gender ratio and representation:

In 2014, only 10% of elected representatives in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies were women. In 2023, a 33% reservation for women in these bodies was implemented. 

In 2024, the sex ratio stood at 1020 women per 1000 men, up from earlier figures.

Over 10.33 crore households received smoke-free LPG connections.

Of the 2.75 crore PMAY-Gramin beneficiaries, 73% were women.

A large number of women have benefited from MUDRA loan schemes.

On completion of 11 years, the government has resolved to create 3 crore “Lakhpati Didis”, empowering rural women.

Historic Progress in Poverty Alleviation

In the fight against poverty, the Modi government has made unprecedented progress in 11 years. According to the World Bank, the extreme poverty rate in India dropped from 27.1% to 5.3%, a remarkable achievement that speaks volumes about the government's grassroots impact.

Farmers: Modi Government’s Top Priority

The Modi government has consistently taken steps to empower farmers, including direct income support, credit access, and price security:

 

Under PM-Kisan Yojana, crores of farmers receive ₹6,000 annually in three installments directly into their accounts.

Compared to FY 2013–14, the agriculture budget in 2025–26 is 5 times higher.

₹3.7 lakh crore has been disbursed to PM-Kisan beneficiaries.

KCC loan limits have been raised from ₹3 lakh to ₹5 lakh.

Over 1.75 lakh insurance claims have been settled under PM Fasal Bima Yojana.

A 7350% increase was recorded in MSP procurement of pulses.

1.7 crore farmers across 100 districts benefited under PM Dhan-Dhanya Yojana.

MSP procurement for oilseeds increased by 1500%.

Multiple other schemes are also being run to directly benefit farmers and boost their incomes.

India’s Military Power on the Rise – Modi Era of Defence Excellence

India has established itself as a formidable defence force, especially under the Make in India initiative. Recently, in response to tensions with Pakistan, India launched Operation Sindoor, where indigenously developed weapons dealt heavy damage to Pakistani military infrastructure.

Defence exports grew from ₹1,521 crore in 2016–17 to ₹23,622 crore in 2024–25.

Over 5,000 items added to the Defence Indigenisation List.

For FY 2025–26, 75% of the defence capital acquisition budget has been earmarked for domestic procurement.

Several lethal indigenous weapons are also under production.
