Army Chief General MM Naravane visits forward areas of White Knight Corps in Jammu and Kashmir. He also took stock of the situation along the Line of Control. The Army Commanders briefed him about the current situation and the ongoing anti-infiltration operations. Naravane's visit is considered very important.

Army Chief MM Naravane is on a two-day visit amid the martyrdom of nine soldiers in Poonch and the ongoing operation against the terrorists. On the first day of the tour, he held a meeting with the military officials and inquired about the security situation. Here he was accompanied by GOC of White Knight Corps, GOC of Northern Command and other officers. After this he reached Nagrota Military Headquarters. Naravane has told the army officers that the terrorists surrounded in Poonch should not run away at any cost.

Recently, news is coming that the investigation of two civilian killings in Jammu and Kashmir has been handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). However, no notification has been issued in this regard yet. On the other hand, in view of the panic spread in the valley due to target killing, the government has prepared a multi-pronged strategy to crush the new conspiracy sponsored by Pakistan. In order to break the network of handlers from across the border, security forces will attack the hybrid terrorists and their aides across the valley.

In the recent high-level meeting of security agencies, finalizing the strategy, instructions have been given to effectively control the incidents of target killing. Under this, police have picked up more than a thousand people from South and Central Kashmir while conducting extensive raids. PSA has been imposed on many of these. More than a dozen stone pelters have been sent to jails outside the state on Sunday. A senior police officer said that the priority is to stop the target killing and reduce the atmosphere of panic among the people.
